The Boucle weave shown here is hand knotted and handloom-woven jute/wool blend, creating a beautiful look to the carpet. Woven from completely natural materials, and a smooth feel underfoot.
Expertly hand woven from multicolor strands of jute and natural wool, this rug has a rhythmic, symmetrically looped surface that’s softened by tonal hues. The natural fibers are exceptionally long-wearing, with a relaxed look that’s complemented by the slightly uneven hand-bound edges. Organic variations in shading are part of the design and are unique to each rug. This jute rug is extremely durable.
Our rugs are artisan crafted in India and no two are alike. Given their handwoven nature, slight variations in shading and size are inherent to the design.
